introduction of DIN EN ISO 50001 for efficient energy management

FWS-Control bietet eine qualitative Kontrolle von Speisewasser- und Dampfkessel mit qualitätsgesteuerter Dosierung

Constantly rising energy costs lead to a minimization of the profit. However, savings potential exists in almost every company. The Energy and Electricity Tax Act 2013 also manifests the political demand for a fixed energy efficiency increase rate. By introducing an energy management system, weak points in one's own energy consumption can be systematically detected and analyzed(1). The current energy concept of the Federal Government also stipulates that an energy management system is the necessary prerequisite for tax benefits(2). Accordingly, energy-intensive companies with a power consumption of more than 10 gigawatt hours from 2012 must document verifiable energy-saving measures within the scope of a certification according to DIN EN ISO 50001 in order to be able to apply for a reduction of the Renewable Energy Law apportionment.

Above all in the field of boiler and feed water treatment, devices from OFS can open up unused savings potential and thus contribute to the ecological handling of resources. Continuous monitoring and quality-controlled process sequences simultaneously increase operational safety. Energy-saving measures can be implemented and proven with devices such as FWS-Control or FWO-Control.
